Privacy Notice

Effective October 19, 2026

This notice explains how Carson Bates, doing business as Anchorpoint Medical Evidence ("Anchorpoint," "we," "us"), handles information for our website and services. Privacy contact: info@anchorpointmedicalevidence.com.

Information covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act is also described in our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Some information may be governed by other laws, such as HIPAA, and is handled under the rules that apply to it.

This information comes from you, a person you authorize, the documents you submit, service providers that support your transaction, an assigned clinician, and our analysis of your submitted material. Asking about or buying a Nexus Check can itself reveal a health-related interest.

Google FontsYour IP address and browser details when a page loads its fonts, to display the website
An independent clinician, if you request a nexus letterThe case records and work needed for independent review
A representative you authorizeOnly the information and access your permission allows
Legally authorized recipientsInformation we must disclose to meet a legal obligation or answer a lawful request

Website analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and a few site actions: opening the call page, starting or sending the call form, tapping a phone number, and finishing the readiness check. It uses no cookies. It records the page address with ad click IDs and payment details removed, whether the visit came from an ad, and general browser, device and country information. It never records what you type or choose in a form.

On most pages we use Microsoft Clarity to see where visitors scroll and tap, so we can fix confusing parts of the site. It hides everything you type and all page text, sets no cookies, and never runs on the records-folder page or the page after payment. Microsoft receives the page address and general browser and device details.

Google click ID with a call request: A link from a Google ad carries a click ID, a random code Google adds to the page address. This site keeps it in your browser for up to 90 days. If you request a call, we include it with your request so we can see which ads lead to calls. It holds no name or health information, and this feature does not send it to Google Ads.

Next steps by email: If you ask for next steps by email after the readiness check, we keep your email address and your answer to “Where are you?” (the VA denied your claim, or you haven’t filed yet) to send those emails. Your readiness answers are not sent. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We send text messages only to people who opt in by personally sending us the prepared consent text described on our text message consent page, or the same wording by hand. Checking the box on that page or opening a message app is not consent, and neither is a purchase or any other text you send us; only the arrival of your prepared consent text counts. If you text our business number, (360) 347-2563, for any reason, our messaging provider (Spruce Health) and mobile carriers handle your phone number and messages so we can receive them. A consent text you send stays in our Spruce inbox as our record of your consent. We use your number, messages and text consent only to provide the messages you agreed to receive. No mobile opt-in data or text messaging consent information will be shared, sold, rented or disclosed to any third party, except as needed to deliver messages or to comply with the law. Texts are for administrative updates and support only; keep records and medical details in your private case folder. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to opt out. Texting HELP returns opt-out instructions; for help, email carson@anchorpointmedicalevidence.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not send case records or analysis to advertising networks or data brokers. The website does not load Google purchase-measurement tags. We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data.

Optional purchase measurement

Asking about or buying our service can reveal a health-related interest. We do not currently offer optional purchase measurement. Nexus letter payments are made through a Stripe payment link we email to you after your report, and we do not connect an advertising source code to those payments or share them with Google Ads. If we offer purchase measurement in the future, we will ask for your separate consent first, update this policy before we collect anything, and keep it off unless you choose it.

Google click ID with a sign-up: If you tick the box on the sign-up form that lets Google Ads know your visit led to a sign-up, we keep the Google click ID from your visit's address with your sign-up record and for that browser session, and the site tells Google Ads that a sign-up happened. We record no health information with the click ID, and your answers are never sent to Google. If you leave the box unticked, we keep no click ID and tell Google nothing about the sign-up.

Consent

We collect and share information only for the service you request and the other purposes described here. If a new use would require your consent, we explain the information, purpose, recipients, and how to withdraw before we ask. Where the law requires it, we ask for consent to share separately from consent to collect. Reading this notice is not consent to unrelated uses.

Security

Only authorized people and the service providers above can access case files. Records and reports are kept in restricted case folders. Please do not send medical records by ordinary email or text.

How long we keep information

For a standalone Nexus Check, we keep the case records and report that we control in restricted storage for 90 calendar days after we deliver the report, then remove report access and delete those case files, unless a specific legal obligation or exception requires longer retention. You may ask us to delete your information sooner. When you upload from a Google Account to our private intake folder, you own those originals; removing our access does not delete your copy. We delete our own working copies under this schedule. Purchase and refund records follow a separate business-record schedule and should contain no medical details. We delete case conversations in Ask Gemini in Google Drive after the checked report is delivered.

Questions and requests

Email info@anchorpointmedicalevidence.com with privacy questions or requests. Do not attach medical records; we will arrange a secure route if one is needed. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains your rights under Washington's My Health My Data Act and how to use them.

Changes

The effective date at the top shows the current version. If we change the categories of health information we collect or the purposes we use it for, we will say so before the new collection, use, or sharing, and ask for consent where required.
